The Deanna Bottone Rose Memorial Scholarship Fund awards scholarships to deserving students and helps local families in need. The Live Like De Golf Outing helps raise money for the fund. We are a 501(c)(3) organization.
ABOUT OUR SCHOLARSHIP
The Deanna Bottone Rose Memorial Scholarship welcomes student applicants each spring. Deserving students are chosen based on the following criteria:
● Single parent home and/or demonstrates financial need
● Student involved in sports, music, or club activities with the desire to further their education at a 2-year, 4-year or trade school, but not necessary to continue their sport or activity in college
● Individual that has a great attitude, motivates others, demonstrates sportsmanship, teamwork, school spirit, and a great work ethic
Students are asked to describe their situation based on the following bullet points:
● This information will be shared with the Bottone and Rose Families.
● How will this money assist you in your future?
● Do you live with mom, dad, guardian? Please explain any special circumstance.
● Please list your sport, club, or activity, the length of time you have participated, and any unique details.
● How do you demonstrate the qualities listed above? (Great attitude, motivation of others, sportsmanship, teamwork, and a great work ethic.) Please share a coach, mentor, or teacher's statement to support your answer.
