The Deanna Bottone Rose Memorial Scholarship welcomes student applicants each spring. Deserving students are chosen based on the following criteria:

• Deserving MHSN Senior in a single parent home and/or demonstrates financial need

• Student involved in sports, music, or club activities with desire to further their education at a 2-year, 4-year or trade school

• Not necessary to continue their sport or activity in college

• Individual that has a great attitude, motivates others, demonstrates sportsmanship, teamwork, and a good work ethic

• This is a local scholarship. Students from North will be chosen as long as they fit the criteria

Beyond your grades and extracurriculars, we want to know the person behind the application. Every family journey is unique—some are marked by the strength of a single parent, while others have faced significant hardships. Please share your story with us: What are the circumstances that have shaped your life, and how have you shown resilience in the face of them?

• Please list your sport, club, or activity, the length of time you have participated, and any unique details

• How do you demonstrate the qualities listed above? (Great attitude, motivation of others, sportsmanship, teamwork, and a good work ethic.)
